I am delighted to offer this free webinar giving an overview of AMD for Ophthalmic Nurses. Across our eye departments nurses are heavily involved in the delivery of macular services, whether it is in doing clinics, capturing macular images or delivering anti-VegF injections.

This webinar will give an overview of the two main forms of AMD – Dry and Wet, looking at how they develop, how we diagnose them and how we can treat or support our patients who suffer from these. This webinar has been very kindly supported by Optelec who are one of the main Low Vision Suppliers in the UK.

I will give an overview of AMD, followed by a brief chat from Paul Bartley of Optelec who will be able to offer an update on some of the technology currently available for patients who suffer visual impairment due to AMD.
