Welcome to this online tutorial offering an overview of triage  and acute and emergency eye conditions. This is a small, interactive tutorial for all optometrists and dispensing opticians.

Being the first port of call for acute and emergency conditions is becoming more common-place for optometry practice, and particularly as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This tutorial will cover some of the basic principles of Triage within optometry practice before giving an overview of the main acute and urgent eye condition, covering painful red eyes, ocular injury and sudden loss of vision.

All delegates will receive a copy of the 32-page Triage booklet written by Stanley Keys, along with a 50 page sample Triage Note Pad to try in practice. There are also 2 interactive CPD points available, with a certificate being issued following your attendance on this online tutorial.

This tutorial will be run through Cisco Webex online meeting software, and details will be sent out prior to the event. Best to join using a laptop or iPad in order to follow the presented slides and images.

I look forward to seeing you on the tutorial – you can book below of email me at Stanleykeys1@icloud.com if you have any questions.

There are 2 CET points (Optometrist, IP or Dispensing Optician)
